ABOUT

Curiosity has always been a driving force in my life, along with a desire to understand and serve others. That curiosity led me to The Ohio State University, where I discovered that journalism allowed me to explore my questions while connecting them to public service.

I began publishing my first stories as the diversity and accessibility beat writer for Ohio State’s independent student newspaper, The Lantern. In this role, I built a strong foundation in reporting and later expanded my work into Lantern TV.

In 2024, I stepped into my role as a content creator at Bridgeway – Academy & Therapy Center, a nonprofit in central Ohio serving children and young adults with developmental disabilities. Anchoring my work in human-interest narratives, I saw firsthand how authentic storytelling can strengthen community connection.

My time in the nonprofit sector has greatly shaped me as a professional and deepened my appreciation for the central Ohio community. It reaffirmed my goal of returning to journalism to amplify voices across the Columbus area.
